Today was wonderful from start to finish – events and festivities from morning till night. It’s how every summer day on Orcas used to be before COVID. We’re finally getting back to normal!

Today was also Ricky the Bearded Dragon’s final day as mayor. He handed his crown and the key to the island over to this year’s newly elected Mayor, Sweet Girl Love.
There were a few hours to wander off and stop and smell the roses…
…and then it was time for the Lions Club’s Salmon BBQ at the Firehouse, followed by Martin Lund’s One World Concert – its 20th Anniversary!
