Art Tour – Anusha Solayea’s Jewelry

Feng-shui-wise, this was one of my favorite studios to spend time in. Something about the color of the walls, the lighting, the music, and Anusha’s warm, genuine, inviting personality. All combined, I felt like I could hang out in there for awhile. Our little boy must have felt the same way – he conversed with her for quite some time. I think once he saw her framed flying dragon draco lizard, he was putty in her hands. Seeing her as a kindred spirit, the floodgates opened and he had all kinds of things to share with her. She’s a great listener and question-asker too. Not the type to move on or think of ideas to interject. That’s when I became putty in her hands. A mom loves those who listen intently to her child’s thoughts.

We were uniquely fortunate on our tour – we seemed to experience a window in which we were the only ones at almost every studio we visited. This studio was no different, at least for a lot of the time. Anusha gave us a demonstration and, after hearing our son’s geology and gem interests, she even gave him a beautiful hunky stone to take home.

A lovely person inside and out, make sure not to miss an encounter with Anusha on a future tour someday. For more about her jewelry, email her at twistingwhimsy@me.com.

Her friend and assistant, pictured here, was equally warm and friendly as well.
