April’s hard work made Clever Cow an ice cream shop known for consistency, simple beauty, and cleanliness – eye candy functioning like a well-oiled machine. She has passed the helm over to Cindy Estey, who bought the business to live out a dream of hers.

Cindy and her family are from Boise, Idaho, and have been visiting Orcas in the summers for 20 years. She and her husband Frank, both former high school teachers, were married here and are so excited to raise their son Landry here and be a part of the community they’ve grown to love and respect. Stop in, say hi, and enjoy some ice cream.
