Capping off a Staycation Summer

With five days left of summer before school begins, we’re enjoying every last ray of sunshine, every last chance to swim in the lake, some tent “camping” with our pets in the front yard and the living room (the black tent is for our shedding cat), some all-morning book reading, and as many blackberry-bush sessions and garden visits as we can. The boys have lived out their passions – from robotics-building, drone-flying, and video-making (the older) to miniatures-building and weekly ceramics classes (the younger).

Here is the most recent video review our son made, which went live today…

The pandemic aside, it has been a summer to remember for so many positive reasons.
