The Annual Children’s Holiday Market at the Library

I only saw the final 10 minutes of the 2-hour Children’s Holiday Market on December 11th at the library – one of my favorite events of the entire Christmas season, in which kids of all ages dream up hundreds of items to make and sell. It’s quite a thing to see. I believe this was the highest number of kids with tables ever (in the 70s, I think). It was the first time our kids didn’t participate – sigh!

Thank you, library staff and Rachel Bishop for carrying on this tradition every year – it’s one of those things that makes Orcas so wonderfully unique!
