Since our big snow, the rain has taken over. We’ve heard that the ground here is 100% saturated. You see streams where trails were, new creeks cutting through the forest, and water glossing out over the roads.
Cascade Lake has overflowed into the parking lot and into the whole grassy area where we usually sit when we go to the lake. Cascade Falls is raging!
Here’s a peek at what it looks like out and about…
The last photo was taken by my son on the iPhone 11. His photos all surpass mine now. That little phone camera is unreal with its long exposures, night mode, portrait mode with a shallow depth of field, and color richness. It can do things unlike anything my big, bulky Canon can do.
I would post all of his phenomenal images, except that they all have such a high resolution that I’d have to do a little work on each one of them. This blog won’t accept photos as large as his.
