During normal times, depending on the person I’m hanging out with, I’m anywhere from a fair listener to a very good listener. (The more you talk, the more I listen; the more you listen, the more I talk.)
But dang, do I get on a roll talking when I haven’t seen another human outside of my family for a few days! I just get so excited! I launch into story after story and sound like I could go on for days! Especially if it’s sunny out – I get downright giddy, and my mind races with frenetic joy!
Whoa, watch out when you run into me on a beautiful, clear day when no one else is around! Do you have an hour or five?!
No really, don’t avoid me. I do have some semblance of self-control. Now and then, it just gets away from me. I’ll try to keep it together. 🙃
