I love when life provides the perfect moments to photograph. The other day, a friend and I walked out of the dark, rainy, drippity morning into Orcas Bakery where Shawna Hanan was checking on hot loaves of bread in the giant oven and pulling out fresh, warm scones with apples from the trees outside. It couldn’t have been a more perfect juxtaposition of elements.
