I just met a new friend at Tidepool Coffeehouse yesterday, and overheard owner Katie Gaible explaining the decadent cake whose slices were for sale to benefit the people of Ukraine.

I don’t drink coffee, but noticed they carry bubble tea. They have two kinds – in the can and made fresh. I got the fresh mango flavor and sat down to interview a fascinating person while sipping quite a delightful drink.

I don’t even know what’s in bubble tea, but it was so good that I think I’ll keep it a mystery rather than look it up.
Make sure to stop into Tide Pool, where some of your purchases can help benefit people on the other side of the world.
