Tired of cooking? Stop where you are and bring a favorite dish to share at the Odd Fellows Thanksgiving this evening.
Lonely? Bring something simple that you have on hand and be with others tonight.
Squabbling with visiting relatives? Set your differences aside and bring everyone you know to join the fun.
Tired of everyone watching football while you’re doing all the cooking again? Call it off and come on down!
Prefer to be out walking in the beautiful day over keeping up everyone else’s traditions that try to keep you in the kitchen?
My wish is that you will ALL come! There’s nothing like it! And hey – no major cooking before or cleaning afterward – I love it!
If you haven’t done it in the past, just bring some tableware (if you forget yours, Odd Fellows has you covered), a potluck item, and some drinks if you’d like. But don’t let a lack of anything stop you either, as I heard there will be 17 turkeys provided by Odd Fellows folks. Come give thanks, eat, and be merry with everyone!
This is one of my favorite Orcas traditions…
