The annual exhibit showing the students’ art is always phenomenal. While I enjoyed most subjects in high school, art was my favorite – the most memorable one. Getting larger chunks of time to create and enter a state of flow while at school is a big deal. It’s really important. Without art, sometimes students don’t do anything in a whole 7-hour school day that is of any personal value to them.
