I love this new place in the heart of Eastsound, which is on the corner where Roots was. I think it is so smart, simple, affordable, and fills the kind of niche many of us have been looking for. And importantly, I think it will survive Orcas winters, which can be the death knell for businesses. Everybody likes pizza all year long, and everybody gets hungry in town! What a perfect location, a perfect time to open when the sun has begun to shine warmly on us, and a wallet saver you can’t run home to make food.
Now we have two affordable take-out places – Johanna’s burritos in the Ray’s parking lot for $6 and Ladybug Pizza slices for $5 or $6 each! Woohoo! Spring and summer, here we come!
