In a quest to get fitter from home, I recently searched for a YouTube channel that had workouts I would like doing all the time.
Found! I love it. The channel is called MadFit and I thought I’d pass it on to you. There are workouts of all lengths – 4 minutes, 12 minutes, 30 minutes, etc. They’re clean, simple, short on talk, and awesome on intensity. They involve strength, flexibility, endurance, cardio, etc. And the best thing is they are FREE!
The woman who creates all the videos is really good at what she does, and I’m hooked. Actually, I’m so sore today from doing video after video yesterday that I can barely walk now. I’ll just do the videos now that focus on body parts that aren’t currently hurting!
If you are stuck inside due to bad weather or Coronavirus, these are fantastic, and you won’t run out. I’m so tired of getting little exercise in the gloomy months, so I’m thrilled to have this in my life for future seasons too.
Many of the videos are made to be quiet – no jumping – if you are in an apartment building, which I love since we live in a small house. You also don’t need any special equipment. She incorporates all kinds of creativity that uses the weight of your own body to strengthen you.
Here’s a sampling, but you might as well subscribe to the channel once you get there!
Note: She is super fit, so don’t let her fitness cause comparisons that keep you from trying it. Just enjoy it without judgment of yourself and see her as an inspiration.
Enjoy! I’m right there with ya….
