Ōde Orcas Island Is In

I had no idea Martha Farish painted all of those beautiful pieces I pass all the time at Outlook Inn; I had no idea she painted at all!

Nor had I heard of The Huntress Guild!

Those are just a few things I’ve gleaned from the website about this new book by Sara Farish and Ayn Gailey called Ōde Orcas Island. I can’t wait to dive into it and read more stories I never knew about locals we pass all the time. If there’s anything I love, it’s enjoying beautiful photography and learning about people’s lives.

Darvill’s Bookstore is launching the book this Wednesday, December 18th, from 4-6 PM, offering copies straight off the press and an opportunity to meet the creative directors, writers, photographers, and authors who made it happen.
