We had the most incredible sunny Saturday since last summer. The sunshine has been breaking through for several hours at a time leading up to then, and Saturday brought all-day blue sky, warmth, and even a little pink on the cheeks. I was out the entire day, basking in it, producing Vitamin D, storing up to make up for lost time over the past few months and future gray days before July clears the sky.
You don’t realize how exhilirating and motivational it is to see bright colors, beaming light, and the shadows it makes on the ground (rather than one big shadow from a permanent cloud blanket) until you go months without all-day sunlight. What a joy to be bathed in brightness again.
