I didn’t originally envision writing a blog that would have less to do with people and community and more to do with scenics and home life, but I suppose that’s what transpires during a pandemic.
I’ve asked local people to write about various experiences so I can post their stories here – from how their income has been affected to how they dealt with having COVID in the ICU, but nothing has come in. I’ll continue to be interested in others, but homeschooling all day every day doesn’t afford much time to get lost in ideas away from home.
In the meantime, here are some glimpses of life in the last few weeks here. One thing I can continue to do is be inspired by the “free” beauty here, and I hope it lifts you up too.
Thanks for the Orcas eye candy Edee! Having just relocated here from Santa Barbara I am blown over by the lush abundant beauty everywhere I turn. This is the best kind of candy and I can gorge with no guilt!
