Homeschooling takes every ounce of my being, but today I had a few amazing, relaxing hours all to myself. Our older one was hanging out with a friend around town and our younger one had a Granny date. I criss-crossed them all a few times as I rekindled my love of photography and nature, capturing the beauty around town before it gets past me.
Fall is always a magical time and there was an extra buzz of excitement in the air today as Island Market held a free cupcake-decorating event for kids, the museum had a free “Boo-seum” afternoon for families, the Farmers’ Market enjoyed its last Saturday of the year, and the Haunted Hay Ride at Camp Orkila topped off the night.
