COVID times have meant watching a lot more shows and movies than we ever did in the past. Our two latest series have inspired our younger son to create miniature replicas.
We were excited each Friday to watch The Mandalorian, and we grew quite attached to The Child (baby Yoda). Our son set to work one day…
Now we’re hooked on Lost in Space, a captivating series on Netflix about a family trying to get to Alpha Centauri. We’ve tried not to binge-watch it, spacing the shows out over the days and weeks. They’re like our extended family right now since we can’t be with real humans!
This is the Jupiter ship the family has been on. Our son has to find all kinds of little bits and pieces of things in order to fashion the parts into what he wants to make. There’s a lot of finding, cutting, forming, painting, and imagination involved.
