As weather reports predicted, we awakened to a wonderfully thick covering of snow this morning – perfect powder for sledding. Dreamy, really.
It felt like today was a vacation somewhere else. Tired out from hiking the sledding hill, we walked into town for some après-sled mochas and cozy relaxation at Darvill’s. Our favorite spot is the bench overlooking the Sound. As the wind whipped the snow into blizzard-like flurries off the roof outside, it felt so good to enjoy the warm peace inside.
The snowy walk into our deserted town White-capped Indian Island One of the only places open today Best spot ever Dad reading Andrew Henry’s Meadow – the best Hi Kelly! What a stunning view
It’s all changing now, as the temperatures warmed lightning fast a few hours ago and the snow is melting before our eyes. We may awaken to life as we normally know it…

How did you make those awesome comic style pictures?
Hi Franziska!!!! Here’s what you do: go to iMessage app, go to Camera icon at lower left, go to Star icon at lower left, switch camera angle to not a selfie, go to 3-colored red blue green icon, choose comic book filter, and then you have to do it every time you take one unfortunately.
Evan found this about showing you how: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHehEj3wfvA&app=desktop
