Back in November, our son, Evan, had a notice in The Sounder offering tech help to anyone who needed it in order to raise money for a two-week mission trip to Belize with other high schoolers from Orcas Christian School:
Thanks to many of you, Evan was able to raise $945 of the $1700 he needed for the trip. The students leave for SeaTac this morning, and we wholeheartedly thank the following people for your contributions in exchange for Evan’s technology knowledge and work in other ways (installing insulation, etc.): Betty, Bob, Mary Beth, Fred, Michelle, Luellen, Erica, Margot, Adele, and Alex.
Some of you barely needed help, some of you desperately needed help, some of you needed Evan repeatedly, and one of you just plain handed Evan money on the street!
