You’ve gotta go check it out – it’s beautiful! This is how it used to be when my husband and I visited here the first time 17 years ago when I was pregnant with our first child (he graduates from high school next week!). I’ll never forget…as tourists we walked into town from Double Mountain B & B, covered a few miles of Enchanted Forest Road on a cool, cloudy, misty, May morning (the perfect setting for the name of the road), and discovered this wonderful little bookstore hovering over the Sound. We stayed in there for hours, sipping our drinks, enjoying the view, and perusing all the great books.
Now the overlook has been reinstated…
It’s wild how life goes, as I now sit in the bookstore for author signings (thank you for having me yesterday, Darvill’s!).
