Tomorrow, July 7th, at 7 PM, turn on 102.3 FM KIXP either on your radio or online at kixp.org (and press the play button) to hear an interview with Joel and Michelle Levey.
They were among the very first people to develop and introduce Mindful Leadership, Collective Wisdom, Deep Resilience, Mind Fitness, and Compassion Science based programs within mainstream medical, higher educational, organizational, and government/military arenas beginning in the late 70’s.
Go to the Leveys’ website, www.wisdomatwork.com, and you will see a jaw-dropping list of their clients: MIT, NASA, JPL, Boeing, Special Forces, Pentagon, NOAA, World Bank, United Arab Emirates, British Parliament, Google, Intel, Hewlett Packard, Stanford, and the extensive list goes on, even including the public school I attended in Richardson, Texas!
The Dalai Lama has been an advisor and supporter on a number of the Leveys’ projects, encouraging them in their work…
You are presently engaged in work that has great prospects for bringing the inner sciences and technologies of human development and transformation to a very wide section of people who may not under ordinary circumstances come into contact with these teachings.
Next week, the Leveys will be guiding a contemplative program at Indralaya called Finding Light in the Darkness: Awakening a Special Kind of Courage from July 15-20, with the aim of awakening the power of loving, courageous presence and peace in order to increase one’s capacity to truly be the change they wish to see in the world. Then on July 22nd at 6:30 PM, they will be sharing their new book with Orcas Islanders at Darvill’s Bookstore, Manual for the Awakening Warrior, The Special Forces Secret Mind-Body-Spirit Training Program.

This episode will appear on the Life on Orcas Island with Edee Kulper podcast after it airs on the radio. You can also find each weekly episode online on Amazon Music (tell your Alexa: “play the podcast Life on Orcas Island with Edee Kulper” and the latest episode will begin playing), ApplePodcasts, Spotify, iHeartRadio, PlayerFM, Podchaser, BoomPlay, and PodBean.
