I am blown away by so many kind responses from those of you full of ideas and encouragement regarding what to do about the skyrocketing blog-hosting costs I recently incurred. Thank you for your words, your advice, and your creative thoughts on how to continue.
So many of you remarked that you’d be happy to make contributions. As I was uncomfortably ruminating on how to ask for monetary support, I received some messages from two tech-xperts who read this blog. One offered to fix the issue by working on the back end of the blog to reduce its size and price. The other said if that didn’t help, he’d cover my blog-hosting costs for the next 3 years… holy moly!!
I am beyond grateful for all of you who follow this blog, all of you who continue to reach out with supportive words and ideas, and all of you who have offered tech help and monetary support.
I am deliberating over seeking additional monetary support beyond the blog-hosting costs, either in the form of grants or reader contributions, as I would love to put more daily time into this blog ~ somewhere between 2-6 hours per day. I absolutely love writing, and so many article ideas come to mind and go by the wayside because I have other channels of work to attend to. We’ll see what happens.
In the meantime, thank you so much for reading, caring, thinking up creative ideas, sharing your expertise, and offering your generosity in so many forms.
