I am an Artist Blacksmith. I employ fire, iron, and the tools of the blacksmith that remain unchanged over the centuries. However, I remain curious, and continually experiment with diverse materials such as wood, stone, and woven willow. I also value collaboration with fellow artists from a variety of disciplines from glass blowers to choreographers. My works are predominantly found enhancing the homes, gardens, and public spaces of Orcas Island; they feel very rooted in this place. My goal is always to create works that inspire and endure.
