My journey as an artist is deeply rooted in the memories and treasures passed down through generations. As a child, I was captivated by my Nana’s jewelry, each piece whispering a different story. Her words, “My jewelry simply reflects the beauty you have inside yourself,” sparked my interest for creating pieces that echo the essence of the wearer’s soul. Upon inheriting Nana’s collection, I embarked on a transformative exploration, deconstructing and reinventing each piece carefully with love. From this treasure trove emerged my artistic expression, blending nostalgia with innovation to craft jewelry. My creative process is purely intuitive, where beads, stones, and components come together to form unique compositions. I breathe new life into vintage components, blending semi-precious gemstones, sterling silver, and brass. As my artistic endeavors expanded, so did my mediums. Delving into the alchemy of pure silver precious metal clay, I create delicate forms and pendants. And with ceramics, I discovered a realm of boundless possibility, shaping whimsical vessels that infuse everyday life with joy and wonder. In each creation, whether it’s a piece of jewelry or a playful ceramic birdhouse, vase or mug, I aim to evoke a sense of connection – to the past, to the present, and to the owner’s inner journey.

I’m not sure what that message means, but I DO receive your messages and a thank you is LONG overdue!! I was just reading all the comments I’ve ever received the other day, and YOU stand out as being SO supportive. I thank you IMMENSELY for reading this blog, for taking the time to leave encouragements along the way, and for continuing to comment here and there even if there is silence on my end. Life has been very full in the last 2 years – I needed to initiate divorce after 21 years of marriage (things are amicable), I needed to drum up ample work after being a stay-at-home mom all those years, my brother died, my mom died, and my dog died. After a lot of quiet, hermit-like processing, I’m finally “me” again and finally creating blog posts again. Thank you so much for your written support over the years – I appreciate you!!!
